Whiskey Tango Foxtrot is a Fishing Machine. She is a Northern Bay 28, built by Downeast Boats and Composites in Stueben, Maine. She is a traditional Maine lobster boat design by the famed Calvin Beal. She was built as a commercial work boat that can win races. Lobster Boat races are wildly popular in Maine, and in 2014,  WTF took honors as "The Fastest Lobster Boat Afloat". If you search "WTF Lobster boat" there are a number of Youtube videos showing her doing her stuff! She is powered by a 560 hp FPT diesel engine and has been clocked at 54 MPH. She is as seaworthy as she is fast, as these boats are designed to handle rough water with an easy motion. WTF is outfitted with modern Furuno electronics including  Radar, 2 Fish finders, 2 GPS units, and 2 VHF radios.
